I believe that all students should not be required to take up a sports CCA, as for many of the students, there is little benefit from joining. Sports CCAs do indeed allow students to improve their fitness and learn to become proficient in one sector in sports. However, looking into their future, there is hardly any benefit gained from the vigorous training, unless one is aiming to join a career in sports. Even so, becoming an athlete is extremely hard that only a chip of rock can actually manage to make it, and the rest would go into the other sectors in the society where there is little demand for strength or proficiency in a sport. Since most students would get a job in a career unrelated to physical activity, forcing every student to join a sports CCA to become proficient at a sport makes their time spent training worthless. As such, though it might be beneficial for sporty students who aspire to become an athlete, it is not beneficial for those who are not aiming for a job related to sports. Therefore, taking up a sports CCA should be optional for students, instead of making it mandatory.
